"If you are interested for your child, no matter what experience he or she has, what their body type may be, or where you live, to have a thorough and caring dance instruction experience, you should consider Miss Laurie's. There are many things I love about Miss Laurie's school of dance, but chief among them is her business ethic of fairness, clear expectations, consistent communication, and feedback for each child. Beyond Miss Laurie's dependable business practice, it is obvious that Miss Laurie and Miss Lindsey truly love what they do. They take the time to know about each child, to challenge and support them with encouragement and correction, and teach important lessons about respect, responsibility, effort, and dedication along with demi plies and pirouettes. I am a proud and happy parent after 13 years costumes, hundreds of trips to Winslow, and more tap shoes, jazz shoes, and pointe shoes than I can count. The best part of being a parent at Miss Laurie's is watching the sense of accomplishment on every student's face as they master a technique or better yet, take their final bow."

"Laurie’s School of Dance has been so much more than a dance studio to our family for over 16 years. From my oldest daughter, who is now pursuing her dream of being a professional dancer, to my youngest daughter, who is just starting out, Laurie’s School of Dance has always been a happy and positive place to bring my children. Not only have they learned expert dance skills in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern studies, but they have also learned self-confidence, respect, kindness, and the importance of giving back. Miss Laurie and Miss Lindsey truly teach from the heart while providing professional and positive dance opportunities and experiences. We are grateful to be part of this wonderful dance family."

"We came to Laurie's School of dance two years ago when my youngest daughter was three years old and ready to start dance. After meeting Ms. Laurie and Ms. Lindsey we ended up enrolling our three teenagers too. For two of them this was their first time ever dancing and for my oldest, a senior in HS, this was her first time back to dance in years. Miss. Laurie and Miss. Lindsey welcomed them with open arms and never once made them feel like they didn't belong at this school because they had just started. I can say with confidence that if you saw my girls dance with their classes you could not pick them out as beginners because Miss Laurie and Miss Lindsey have put their heart and soul into helping them. I can never thank them enough for all they have done."
