Miss Laurie, owner and director, has been dancing since the age of three. She studied in Winslow, Maine, under the instruction of Patsy (Ulma) Chase, and Cynthia Crowell. Miss Laurie continues her training by attending classes twice a year in New York City at the Broadway Dance Center. At BDC, Miss Laurie studies ballet, tap, hip-hop, and various styles of jazz. Miss Laurie and her husband, Jim, have been married for 41 years. They have two children, Brittany (Weber) and Tyler.

Miss Lindsey, instructor and assistant director, is a 2012 graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Dance Education with a concentration in Ballet. Miss Lindsey has taught and worked in administration at several studios and dance programs in country including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Addicted 2 Dance Company in Philadelphia, American Dance Training Camps in North Carolina and Raise the Barre Dance Center in New Jersey. Miss Lindsey is thrilled to be beginning her 12th year teaching at LSD!
